History & Heritage

The properties at Carrock have two UNESCO World Heritage Sites within an hour’s drive. The Lake District National Park granted in July 2017 is within 15 minute’s drive to its northern borders. Hadrian’s Wall which has held UNESCO World Heritage Status since 1987 has a number of tourist destinations to visit within an hour’s drive including Birdoswald and Vindolanda Roman Forts.
